I honestly think this is better than the Kenwood and KitchenAid I used before. Compared to those two, it is quieter, and much stable when dealing with the lower hydration dough(50%). While it’s lighter, the suction cups at the bottom keep it firmly on the table, preventing any movement. I no longer need to hover over it to stop it from edging off the counter. Super versatile mixer! Dough hook, whisk and beater handle bread, frosting and cookies. Multiple speeds cover all baking needs, heavy base stays stable even with thick mixes.
The only reasons this mixer got a 4 instead of 5 is it's pretty noisy and the beaters and dough hook aren't dishwasher proof that I can see. On the positive side it's got plenty of power and does a beautiful job with a double batch of cookie dough. Those suction cups on the bottom really hate to let go of anything! But it's nice to know the machine is secure.
The mixer is adorable and quiet. I love the whisk and the lights on this mixer. I wish it came with Glass bowl.
After looking over it and deciding I had not made a mistake in purchasing this lovely machine, I made bread. Loved that the mixer is quiet and powerful enough. I had wanted to purchase a KitchenAid as I had some leftover attachments from previous purchases but this Hauswirt seemed like a contender and I am very pleased with this. I will be exploring other recipes and learning more about the machine as time goes by. By the way, the bread was not a disappointment. Will be making more. Oh, don't forget the lighting - so helpful and a great feature.
